Magicleaf needed a packaging system that could work across multiple product categories while still feeling like one strong, recognizable brand. The opportunity was to go beyond conventional packaging and create a visual language built around ingredients, origin and product stories.
RAGI developed an ingredient-led design approach where every product highlights what makes it unique—whether it is Himalayan Meethi Tulsi, stevia, nuts, fruits, ginger, garlic or traditional dessert ingredients. By combining strategic packaging design, illustration, product photography and AI-assisted visual storytelling, we created a flexible system that feels natural, premium and easy to understand.
The result is a cohesive packaging family that gives every SKU its own personality while maintaining clear Magicleaf brand recognition across boxes, bottles, jars and sachets.

Magicleaf had a growing portfolio across sweeteners, desserts, baking products and wellness categories, but each product had a different ingredient story, format and customer use case. The challenge was to create packaging that could clearly differentiate every SKU while still building one strong and recognizable Magicleaf identity.
The design also needed to communicate multiple messages at once—natural ingredients, health benefits, product purpose, taste appeal and brand trust—without making the packaging feel crowded or overly clinical.
Our key challenge was to build a scalable system that could work across boxes, bottles, jars and sachets, while giving every product enough personality to stand out both on the shelf and on digital platforms.

Our strategy was built around one core idea: make the ingredient the hero and turn every product into a story.
Instead of creating separate visual styles for every SKU, we developed a flexible packaging system with a consistent Magicleaf brand language. Each product then received its own visual world based on its key ingredient, origin, usage and customer benefit.
We combined strong typography, clear product hierarchy, ingredient-led visuals, illustration, product photography and AI-assisted storytelling to make the packaging easier to understand and more memorable.
The system was designed to achieve three things: strong brand recognition across the full range, clear differentiation between products, and effective communication both on physical shelves and digital platforms.
AI was used as a creative exploration tool to develop characters, landscapes and ingredient stories faster, while the final design decisions remained driven by human art direction, packaging strategy and brand consistency.

Our process started by understanding each Magicleaf product individually—its ingredients, purpose, audience, usage and key differentiator. From there, we identified the strongest story each pack needed to communicate.
We then built a consistent visual framework for the brand, including typography, colour hierarchy, benefit communication, imagery and layout structure. Within that system, every SKU was given its own personality through ingredient-focused visuals, product photography, illustrations and storytelling.
AI-assisted exploration helped us quickly develop different characters, landscapes, ingredient scenes and visual directions. These outputs were then refined through design judgment, art direction and packaging principles to ensure the final result felt premium, clear and brand-consistent.
The final stage focused on adapting the system across multiple formats—including boxes, bottles, jars and sachets—while checking readability, shelf impact, ecommerce visibility and overall consistency across the complete product range.

We created a scalable, ingredient-led packaging system that gives every Magicleaf product its own story while keeping the complete range visually connected.
Each pack was designed around its strongest product cue—ingredients, origin, flavour, usage or benefit. Stevia products use natural and agricultural storytelling, desserts focus on appetite appeal and flavour identity, while wellness and baking products use relevant ingredient and usage-based visuals.
A consistent structure of strong typography, colour coding, clear benefit communication, illustrations, product imagery and human storytelling helps customers quickly understand the product while recognizing it as part of the Magicleaf family.
AI-assisted visual development allowed us to explore richer characters, landscapes and ingredient narratives, while RAGI’s design direction ensured consistency, clarity and a premium finish.
The final solution works across boxes, bottles, jars and sachets, creating a unified packaging ecosystem that is distinctive on the shelf, easy to recognize online and flexible enough to support future product launches.

The design work focused on building a consistent but flexible visual system across the complete Magicleaf range.
We developed packaging using strong typography, bold colour blocking, ingredient-focused imagery, product photography, illustrated landscapes, human characters and clear benefit communication. Each product was given its own personality while maintaining the same overall Magicleaf brand language.
For desserts, the design emphasizes appetite appeal and flavour differentiation. For stevia products, the visuals highlight natural origin, farming and Himalayan Meethi Tulsi. Baking products communicate usage and functionality, while Apple Cider Vinegar variants bring ingredients such as apples, ginger and garlic directly into the visual story.
AI-assisted visual development was used to explore characters, environments and ingredient-led scenes, followed by careful art direction and refinement to ensure the final packaging remained clear, premium and commercially practical.
The final design system was adapted across boxes, sachets, jars, dropper bottles and glass bottles, creating a cohesive packaging family that works effectively both on retail shelves and ecommerce platforms.

The final outcome is a strong, scalable packaging system that gives Magicleaf a more consistent and recognizable presence across multiple product categories.
Each product now has a clearer identity based on its ingredients, usage and story, while still feeling part of one unified brand family. The system improves product differentiation, shelf visibility, ecommerce presentation and overall brand consistency across boxes, jars, bottles and sachets.
The ingredient-led storytelling also makes the packaging feel more engaging and human, helping customers understand the product faster and connect with its natural origin, flavour and purpose.
Most importantly, the design system is flexible enough to support future product launches without starting from scratch, giving Magicleaf a visual foundation that can grow with the brand.
